This hotel is really great value for money, with its prime location in the centre of the colonial area making it easy to explore the city and visit places like the Tres Ojos park. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that every guest feels right at home. The rooms have a personal touch and are well-maintained, with basic amenities like a double bed and shared bathroom, plus the added bonus of your own kitchen. Breakfast provided is a nice touch and a good way to start the day.
All was ok.

Located in the heart of the historic district, La Choza Guesthouse is perfectly situated for those looking to explore the area on foot. With El Conde, the main street of the colonial district, just steps away, guests can easily immerse themselves in local culture. the rooms are cozy and creatively decorated, providing a comfortable stay. the friendly staff provides excellent service and a wealth of knowledge about the area. With a pool to relax in, La Choza Guesthouse is a great option for young travelers on a budget.
As with many hotels in the area, the lack of air-conditioning could be considered a drawback for some.

Had a nice Xmas vacation with my family. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the location, close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The common space had a nice pool and chill-out area where we could relax.
We had some issues with the noise level. The walls and doors are thin, so we could hear the other guests partying at night, which kept us up.

Great location in the heart of the historic city. Clean hotel facilities in a relaxing courtyard with a pool. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants and museums. The hotel is conveniently located near a pedestrian street leading to the cathedral.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I recently had the best stay at this charming guesthouse in the heart of the old town. The location was perfect, right in the Colonial Zone, making it super convenient to explore everything I wanted to see. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with rustic and stylish furniture that gave the place a personal touch. I particularly loved the bamboo bed, even though it squeaked a bit. The shared kitchen was equipped with everything I needed, and it was a great opportunity to chat with other guests while cooking. The value for money was fantastic, and the warm welcome from the hosts made me feel right at home. I even got a complimentary airport pickup!
Nothing to complain about!

Great value for the price! We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the staff. the location was perfect for exploring the city, with key attractions just a few minutes' walk away. We also loved the cozy shared spaces, especially the small yard and pool area.
The room was a bit noisy and had quite a few mosquitoes despite the antimosquito spray provided. the shared bathrooms were not the cleanest.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
